Kalungu is situated in the Northern Province, halfway between Isoka and Nakonde respectively. Our rest camp is situated under the tall Zambia teak trees, where you can feel the peacefulness of the African bush. As you meander under the canopy of trees, you will have the unique experience of hearing the melodies of 23 different bird species. The birds have started to relocate to this beautiful site.
Our quaint bungalows will give you a welcome respite from the long, dusty journey.
The secluded, shady camp sites are ideally situated to give you a thrilling glimpse of the glittering night sky. Our communal ablution block, fitted with handmade teak trimmings, hot water and clean toilets are a pleasure to visit. The communal kitchen has clean water, and you will enjoy preparing your meals under the thatched roof, making you feel part of the ambience of Africa.
Our rest camp is far from any shopping facilities, so please remember to stock up with food and drinks before arriving.
